I talked with my sister last night, got a drink and dinner with Nick and Chris, and we're off to the races once again. I also got rejected from 2 different jobs last night. Suck. It seems that I can seal an interview but anything past that and it's a no-go-captain. Suck.
I have never once for a moment considered that taking a step backwards was anything I would consider. And it's crazy that I entertained the idea for over 24 hours. I am not going back to Alaska. I have a life down here. I have a car, an apartment, and a couch. And a pup, to say the least. She's laying on my chest right now. Reminding me again that love and loyalty is everything we have in the world. The only two things that are truly solid and truly matter.
So we focus on moving forward again. Getting a job down here, working on my future as it's been written for twelve years.
